The spirit of Lay Em Low Greensboro
The Lay Em Low Bike Club Greensboro NC Chapter was founded to cultivate a strong, family-friendly environment where the passion for lowrider bikes can truly thrive. Our inspiration came from the desire to build deep connections, share knowledge, and celebrate the unique cultural identity that lowrider biking embodies.
Engaging with our community
To become actively involved in the lowrider bike culture, you can participate in our organized group rides, support local bicycle advocacy groups, or share your skills through community repair workshops. Engaging with these initiatives allows you to build connections while promoting a safe, inclusive cycling environment.
Rides, events, and education
We organize various activities including group rides and social events like "Slow Cruises" that prioritize community over speed. We also help organize "Bike Rodeos," skills clinics, and safety courses for neighborhood youth to build confident riders. Furthermore, we actively volunteer with grassroots bicycle advocacy organizations.
